About Center for Purposeful Aging

Sarah Hiller-Bersson is a licensed clinical social worker, a psychotherapist and has been working in the field of geriatrics and with older adults for over twenty years. Ms. Hiller is the founder and primary clinician at the Center for Purposeful Aging, a private psychotherapy practice that facilitates individuals to achieve fulfillment and a high quality of life through purposeful living and aging. She practices tele-therapy and is licensed in New York, New Jersey, Florida and Arizona. Ms. Hiller – Bersson specializes in themes of aging, retirement, transitions, loss of functioning and purpose, grief and caregiver stress. Sarah is a frequent contributor, lecturer and group facilitator for numerous local organizations such as JCC of Tenafly, NJ, Northern New Jersey YWCA, Senior Source and Institute for New Dimensions (NJ). She has appeared on several radio and video Facebook interviews such as Equal Footing Radio Show, WRCR Radio with Marc Bronstein and Brigham University Radio. Her lectures vary from topics related to Healthy Mindset as One Ages to Psychological Wisdoms from Jewish Sages. Ms Hiller graduated from New York University with a Masters in Social Work.
